Winter 2008  (Updated 1/11/08)

2008 has seen Ken finish both “Yn Y Coed” and "The Works" whilst taking a break from building another layout. His next project is going to be N gauge and Nn3 track on the flat to avoid the gradients in “Yn Y Coed” and the tight bends in “the Works”. His plans will be centred around a Metcalfe bus garage – not yet built, where a bus rally will be taking place. So far this is just an idea – no track is laid but Ken has started building white metal bus kits particularly Bristol ones which are being painted in Western and Southern National liveries. Ken has also more recently been asked to exhibit his models at short notice to fill in for layouts not attending. This continues to be the case – so if you want to see Ken and his layouts either get your exhibition manager to book Ken or email him. He will have Waterfall Junction and Kendorf at the Hagley exhibition in October 2009. Ken Jones
